Portraits

Portraits are personal and unique, and make a memorable gift for family or friends. A portrait can be made from one or more digital or film photographs. Choose a size and medium that suits the subject, your tastes, and the decor where the portrait will be displayed.

Graphite

Graphite is a monochromatic medium that is well suited for photorealistic artwork. This medium can reproduce the fine detail in photographs more accurately than most other media. Graphite creates a striking, dramatic portrait, and is excellent for detailed or high-contrast images.

Colored Pencil

Artwork created with colored pencil can be in bright or muted tones, as the image requires. Like graphite, colored pencil can reproduce the detail from photographs, but color can also be used to smooth an image to give a softer, less harsh impression.

Ink & Watercolor

Ink is usually monochromatic, while watercolor includes a wide range of color options. Both of these media do not show as much fine detail, but they can produce a softer, more emotionally evocative image. They are also well suited to reproducing old or poorly focused photographs.
